Bricks & View is a family-run venue, built on the belief that the best celebrations feel like coming home.
For ten years, Kaelin has been in the special event beverage industry, helping hundreds of couples and families celebrate their biggest days. She has seen what makes a gathering work: the details that guests notice, the moments that matter, and the care that turns a room full of people into a room full of memories. That experience has made this transition to owning the venue the easiest YES, besides of course, marrying Ethan back in 2015!
Ethan brings his discipline, steadiness, and sense of service he developed in the military. He believes in showing up, doing things right, and looking out for the people around you. It's the same commitment he brings to this venue, and to the town we call home.
Together, with our kids at the center of it all, we're raising our family in this community, and we're proud to invest in it. This historic building in the heart of town has a long story of its own. Now we get to help write the next chapter.
Our vision is simple: to make Bricks & View a gathering place where every gathering feels like home. Whether it's a wedding, a milestone birthday, a fundraiser, a community celebration, or a celebration of life, we'll treat you like family from the first tour to the last dance.

Bricks & View: An Industrial Factory Event Venue with Entrepreneurial Roots
Our Bricks & View warehouse event space was Built in 1902 by brothers Jacob, Jonas, and Samuel Katz to house their Katz Underwear Company.
In fact, the space we occupy was once a large sewing room where women sat side by side and used hand-operated machines to manufacture wearables for the Katz product line.
When founder Katharine Brown’s friend, Heather Hogan Spencer (the co-founder and creator of the Bodhi Tree Art School and Studio), opened their space in the building, she suggested Katharine check out the “back room.” It was love at first sight. And because weather extremes can impact outdoor weddings, Bricks & View was a gorgeous and practical indoor event space.
The renovation was a monumental undertaking supported by many amazing people. And during the renovation of our wood floors, we unearthed thousands of pins and needles between the planks, preserved there for over a century.
Today, Bricks & View is owned and operated by Honesdale Natives, Ethan & Kaelin Anderson along with their children, Charlotte & Owen. With extensive experience in the wedding industry through Kaelin’s work with Pour Special Events Beverage Service, we are honored to continue Katharine’s vision. As we celebrate each new event in this beloved space, we aim to uphold the legacy of the Katz brothers’ community connection and create unforgettable experiences where clients become family!
